2025-2026 Grade 7 and New Student Orientation

Wednesday, August 27th 

Grade 7 - 1:00-2:30 pm

Arrive at 1:00 pm for a short presentation then grade 7 students will go to their assigned homeroom and meet their teachers/classmates and learn all about our school. Parents are welcome to join and then can remain in the "NEST" when students go to their classrooms or can choose to return to pick up students at 2:30 pm.

New Students to Highlands - 3:00-4:00 pm 

Arrive at 3:00 pm for a short presentation and a tour of our school. Parents are welcome to join. 

 

 

Pre-Enrolment/Registration for the 2025-2026 School Year

Thanks to all the families who pre-enrolled before the March 19th deadline to help our school get ready for 2025–26! 

We’re happy to let you know that, based on available space, all students who registered or pre-enrolled before March 19, 2025, have been accepted.

We look forward to seeing your family in the fall!

For the 2025-2026 school year, Highlands is full in planned classes in grade 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 in regular/arts core programming.  We will now only accept resident students in Grades 4-9 whose parent(s)/legal guardian(s) have newly moved into the school's attendance area after March 19, 2025.  A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools that has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic. Non-resident students can enrol in another Division school with space in planned classes.
